The traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has produced this full bodied dry red. Below average winter rainfall preceeded a dry spring and summer. Grape crops in Clare were correspondingly low, giving wines of great intensity. The inclusion of 25% Adelaide Hills fruit provides a delicate herbaceous note. Soft natural tannins and elegant structure will be enhanced by ten years cellaring.
